1" x 1/8" compound in 2 Lb bags

Due to a demand to convert unidirectional prepregs into molding compound for compression molded parts, Pro-Cut has developed a proprietary process that produces very accurate sized pieces with optimized filament alignment within each piece. This resulted in an increase in mechanical properties and part performance never before realized. Molding compound particle sizes range from 0.0625" x 0.5" to 3.0" x 0.5", with tolerances of 0.005".

1/2 x 1/8" compound

Material with this level of accuracy and fiber alignment greatly exceeds the performance of chopped towpreg and previous methods of converting unidirectional prepregs (UDPP) into molding compound. The process is also very cost effective with yields often above 99%.
